Rather high cost of entry I'd say. That's almost used Kizashi territory.

CP. Tons of other JDM cars for that price.

Seconded. It’s more expensive than a clean S13 coupe or a non-GT-R Skyline.

Yeah, but when was the last time you saw an Alto Works be-bopping around?
I know the background on this car. It’s 100% legally imported, and has a clean and clear Michigan title. It’s federally-legal, unlike most of your S13’s and Skylines which are state-legal only and could easily get crushed.
Japanese Classics is one of
very
few companies that imports legally.

Who the hell is cross-shopping a late-model naturally-aspirated mid-size sedan with a 1980’s turbocharged compact hatchback?

The point was that there's a better way to spend your money on a Suzuki.

I’m not sure if you’re serious. You’re trying to tell me, with a straight face, that you’d rather have the last dying gasp of Suzuki Motors USA over a pocket rocket hatchback capable of 19 pounds of boost with an 9,500rpm redline that accelerates almost as fast as you can change gears?
Are you sure you’re on the right website? Related: are you sure you’re not completely dead inside?

Yes, I’m serious. The Kizashi is a decent car. And for almost all driving situations, I’d rather have the vehicle that is much more useable in day to day life. Might the Alto be more fun? Sure. But if I’m going to spend 13k I want to buy something I can use more than a few days out of the week without forever regretting the decision.

A hatchback isn’t usable in day-to-day life?

It is, but a 9k redline Kei car with what I assume is pretty substantial turbo lag would get old pretty quick in a daily commute I think. Not to mention that while I love Kei cars, they’re realistically just too small to survive a crash with all the SUV’s that clueless dimwits drive around these days.

I’ve talked to the owner of it, and there is some turbo lag at low revs. It
really
comes up on the cam fast, though. He described it as: “1...2...3...4.56!789shift!”
